The AGS in Music prepares students to transfer to a four year music program with the same mixture of ensembles, lessons, and academic music classes found in the first two years of any college music program.  Our ensembles are open to students of any major, as well as staff, faculty, and community members. An audition is required at or before the start of the term.

  • Orchestra: playing music ranging from classical to present day.
  • Wind Ensemble: open to all who play a band instrument.
  • Jazz Ensembles: two big bands.
  • Symphonic Choir: audition focuses on range and pitch matching.
  • Chamber Choir: audition focuses on voice training.
  • Jazz Combos & Chamber Ensembles: coached by faculty.
